We aren’t the only ones who’ve it rough over the past year; our homes have also been through a lot. Many people have basically been at home nonstop for a year straight—and no going to the office, no socializing with friends, and no leisurely running errands over the course of an afternoon means the place is looking rough.
In addition to the extra wear and tear, some of us went all-in on the tidying up and organizing last spring, assuming our pre-pandemic lives would resume sooner rather than later. And then maybe after the marathon quaran-cleaning, we lost interest and started letting things slide and now it’s a year later and the place is grosser than ever.
If either of these scenarios describes the current state of your abode, you may be interested in a contest that comes with the prize of professional cleaning and organizing services. Here’s what to know.
What you’d win
The contest is pretty straightforward: You submit a photo of the messiest, most disastrous room in your home, and if selected, you win a set of prizes to help get that room back into tip-top shape. These include:
How to enter
In order to enter the contest, you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States. You also must be willing to share before and after photos of your chosen space with the audience of Wishlisted. (So, yes: other people will see your mess—but they will also see it all clean.)
Start by filling out this form (scroll to the bottom of the page). You’ll be asked to attach a photo of the room in your home that needs attention the most, and write a short explanation as to why you’re in need of some spring cleaning assistance this year. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. EST on April 20, 2021.
