The first generation of Google’s Nest Wifi routers have been around since 2019, but they might not be available for long: Google has decided to stop selling them. This could be because the company is about to announce a replacement product, but in the meantime, you can grab them for up to 72% off. from Amazon.

It’s important to note that Google still covers these routers with their latest security updates and has announced no plans to stop doing so. This makes the Nest Wifi a great choice if you’re looking to switch to a mesh router on the cheap—but keep in mind that they won’t work with the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard.

The Google Nest Wifi uses mesh technology to create a network that will cover your entire home, eliminating the dreaded wifi dead spots without sacrificing speed like a wifi extender would. They are easy to connect, and will stop you from losing signal on your devices when you move to different areas of your home. (Read the PCMag review if you want more information about how mesh routers work.)

Here is what is available on sale right now:

Google Nest Wifi router (with or without satellite nodes)

A single Google Nest Wifi router is $49.99 (originally $169.99) will cover up to 2,200 square feet. Or pick one up in a set with a satellite node (Google calls them Wifi points), which will give you an additional 1,600 square feet of coverage, for $108 (originally $269). You can also get additional nodes individually for $105 (originally $149.99).

Google Nest Wifi multi-packs

A Google Nest Wifi two-pack is cheaper than the bundle with the node and will cover 4,400 square feet, compared to 3,800 square feet for a router and a node. You can get it for $83.60 (originally $299) after a 72% discount.

You can also get a Google Nest Wifi with two nodes, to cover 5400 square feet.
