How do you like your omelette? Simple, masala, with chicken, or with lots of veggies? There are numerous ways you can enjoy this breakfast staple, yet people love to keep reinventing it. It’s all good as long as it turns our palatable and impresses our taste buds. The problem is when someone tries to meddle with the dish with strange experimentations that make us baulk at the dish itself. Remember when a street vendor made a sweet omelette by adding Dairy Milk chocolate to it? If that wasn’t enough to shock you, this new invention might. Now a street vendor has been discovered who sells chowmein omelette! Needless to say, people are not too keen on trying it. Okay, we all love chowmein and it is one of the best street foods available in India. Some of us even whip an egg into it to make it exciting. But mixing cooked chowmein with the humble omelette is going a bit too far. The video shows the vendor in Old Delhi’s Chawri Bazaar making the chowmein omelette. He captioned with a video, “Sikandar bhai ki Omelette wali Chowmein.” The video shows the entire process of making the dish by the vendor. Are you also curious about how this bizarre dish is made? Watch the video here: More than the strange omelette recipe it is the stall vendor’s narration that caught our attention. The confidence he has in his creation is commendable. But that did not suffice to impress other viewers. With more than 28k views and 1k likes, the video received lots of comments from disgruntled viewers. The comments show that the combination of chowmein and omelette was clearly not appreciated.
