Amazon is currently having a sale on Google Pixel Watches, with some very good deals on both the first-generation Google Pixel Watch and the newer Google Pixel Watch 2. Both smartwatches are great at being a mini-smartphone on your wrist as well as a health tracker (since the acquisition of Fitbit), but there are some key differences worth noting between them. For both models, Amazon is matching the lowest prices I’ve seen them hit so far.

Google Pixel Watch is down to Black Friday prices

The first-generation LTE Google Pixel Watch is currently 50% off, at $199.99 (originally $399.99), which is the lowest price I’ve seen it hit and currently matching its Black Friday price. The LTE version allows you to leave your phone behind while still being able to take calls or play music from your phone. Here is what you can expect from it:

Google’s first smartwatch came two years after they acquired Fitbit, and it came in the form of the Google Pixel Watch in 2022. The smartwatch comes in one size, 41mm, in a variety of colors, and in your choice of LTE or wifi. The main difference is that the LTE model comes with an eSIM that connects to your mobile provider, allowing you to make and receive calls independently of your phone. Google’s first smartwatch comes with 32GB of storage, has a microphone, a speaker, and many fitness tracking features powered by Fitbit. This watch comes with a single physical button, the ability to keep the screen always on, customizable watch faces, interchangeable strap bands, 5ATM water protection, and Bluetooth connectivity. You can expect up to 24 hours of battery time after a full one-hour and 20-minute charge time. It has a “find my phone feature” if you misplace your cellphone, and it has voice compatibility with Google Assistant.

Keep in mind the LTE and wifi are both currently $199.99; the LTE version has wifi as well and will always have a higher resell value. This first-generation Pixel Watch still gets the latest updates and can get Wear OS 4. You can read our review here.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 is also down to its lowest price

The Google Pixel Watch 2 came out in October 2023 with some notable improvements, mainly from the battery life, which can now last a whole day with the display on the entire time. The fitness tracking and features also saw some improvements. If having the newest features and longer battery life is worth the extra $100 or $150 for the wifi or LTE version, respectively, then go for it. Otherwise, the first-generation Pixel Watch is still a great smartwatch.
