This article is about rumors surrounding Season 10 of Married at First Sight. Some rumors might be mixed with spoilers concerning the series and the cast. Therefore, you might not want to read further.
There have been rumors surrounding Season 10 of Married at First Sight since it premiered on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. For the first time ever, there are five couples from the Washington, DC area. The rumors started from the very beginning of the seasons.
Based on what viewers have seen, many of the couples are likely to divorce. So far, many people are speculating that only Jessica and Austin will stay married. There is too much drama surrounding the other couples for that to make their marriages work.
In the previous nine seasons, 29 couples who tied the knot on Married at First Sight, but only 8 couples have stayed married.
The state of Maryland provided proof that Brandon Reid filed for an annulment from Taylor Dunklin on January 2, 2020. That was just one day after the premiere of the tenth seasons on Lifetime. Even though viewers began watching the series then, Brandon and Taylor got married on August 5, 2019.
That was the first time in the history of the series that information like that was revealed. Usually, viewers have to wait until Decision Day to find out if the couples have decided to stay married or to get a divorce. There is another husband from Season 10 who has also filed for an annulment, according to another rumor.
When viewers were first introduced to Taylor Dunklin on Married at First Sight, they admired her beauty and her success. A lot of information has come out about the ??-year-old wife of Brandon Reid that is not flattering.
According to blogger MafsFan, Taylor is not what she appears to be. She is not a scientist at John Hopkins University, according to the university’s directory. Taylor is affiliated with John Hopkins, but as a research program coordinator which isn’t a bad job to have.
The blogger provided other information about Taylor that does not add up to what the show promoted. Other than not being a scientist, she is not getting a Ph.D., Master’s degree or any other degree. She has a suspended license and lives with her mother. None of those things would have kept her from being on the show, So, why the deception and why didn’t producers know this?
Brandon and two of the other grooms had different matches who backed out at the last minute. Therefore, replacement matches had to be made to keep five couples. Taylor and two other brides were selected without being thoroughly vexed. Producers did not have time to conduct the usual background checks that would have revealed the correct information.
Taylor’s misconceptions are not factors involved in Brandon’s petition for an annulment because he probably didn’t know about them while filming the series. The court document lists adultery as the reason for the annulment.
Like Brandon Reid, it is rumored that Michael Watson has filed for an annulment of his marriage to Meka Jones. He is claiming the series used fraud to get him to marry Meka, which isn’t even her real name.
Michael firmly believes the experts deliberately matched him with someone who would create “drama and excitement” for the reality show’s ratings. He contends that if he knew the experts would match him with someone like Meka, he would not have agreed to be part of the show.
According to the court’s filing, Michael and Meka married on August 5, 2019 and officially separated on October 1, 2019.
Both Brandon and Michael live in Maryland and filed for an annulment in the court there. There is nothing preventing them from getting a divorce, but their situations are not reasons for them to get an annulment, according to Maryland’s laws.
According to reports, Meka is not her real name. In addition to Michael’s claim of fraud by the series, he is also all claiming fraud by his wife after he discovered her legal name was actually Kwaneja Jones when they got married and the entire time the show was being filmed.
Meka filed to change her name in May 2019, but her name change was not finalized until January 17, 2020. However, that is not grounds for an annulment or divorce.
Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben
This is not a rumor because viewers can see for themselves that Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben are having a very difficult time in their marriage. As of this writing, they are not living together. Zach insists that he needs his own space and moving in with Mindy is not healthy for him.
Even though Zach has said on a least three separate occasions that he is not attracted to Mindy, she still insists that she is committed to staying married to him. No one would be surprised or disappointed if they say they will divorce on Decision Day.
A groom not living with his new wife has never happened on Married at First Sight before.
