Arjun Kapoor Breaks Down His Love Of Tattoos: “I’m Always Hunting For Cool Designs”

He added that he was happy that his character in his upcoming movie also demanded to sport some “insane” tattoos. In the post, he also thanked his director Mohit Suri for covering him with tattoos and reuniting with his “love for body art”. In the images, the actor can be seen showing off his tattoos. He wrote, “For me, tattoos are a form of expression and I love it! It’s cool, sexy, beautiful and I dig it. I have always wanted to sport tattoos in my films and it is not a secret that I love tattoos deeply.” He added, “For me, they are always personal. I’m always hunting for cool designs and talking to people about what my next one will be. So, Ek Villain Returns was an amazing project for me because I got to sport such insane tattoos that define my character and personality in the film. Getting inked holds a different meaning for everyone, for me it was always about imprinting a part of your soul on to your body. With this film, I can safely say that I have been reunited with my love for body art and I thank Mohit Suri for covering me with tattoos that I will cherish forever. I already have 3 tattoos. Time to maybe get 1 more.” Here have a look: For those who don’t know, Arjun Kapoor has three tattoos – one reads Maa (dedicated to his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor), the second is a letter A with a spades symbol (dedicated to his sister Anshula Kapoor) and the third tattoo is a Latin phrase Per Ardua Ad Astra, which means from adversity to the stars.Helmed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain Returns also stars Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and John Abraham in lead roles. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villain, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. Produced by T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures, Ek Villain Returns is slated to hit the theatres on July 29.
