Apple Arcade might not be as cheap as it used to be, but at least Apple isn’t neglecting it. Quite the contrary: The company continues to refresh the service with new games every month. Between now and Dec. 5, you can expect eight new titles to hit the platform.

In addition to these new games, existing games are getting some new updates. Hello Kitty Island Adventure, NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition, Sneaky Sasquatch, Cut the Rope 3, Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go, Japanese Rural Life Adventure, and The Oregon Trail, will all receive new content in November and December.

First up on Nov. 3 is Knotwords+. This one is made by developer Zach Gage, who made other Apple Arcade titles such as Card of Darkness, Good Sudoku+, and Flipflop Solitaire+. In this puzzle game, you move letters on the board so a word is spelled in all available directions. It’s a bit like reverse Scrabble, only without the arguments.

Football Manager 2024 Touch is the latest installment in the Football Manager series, which sees you manage a football (soccer) team to victory. Unlike other sports games, you aren’t controlling the players: Rather, you’re the manager, and whether or not you win the match comes down to strategy.

Apple says this installment will feature a new “enhanced training” mode, a refreshed Set Piece Creator, new “Manager Principles” for establishing yourself in-game, as well as a new skin for smaller iPhones, which should help navigating the game on the tiny displays.

Downwell+: Nov. 17

This one’s exciting: Downwell is a great platformer from 2015, in which you continuously “fall” down the procedurally generated map, shooting obstacles and enemies out of the way with your Gunboots. Developer Digital remade the game for touch devices, hence Downwell+, so even if you’ve played the original, it could be worth trying out on Apple Arcade.

Delicious – Miracle of Life+: Nov. 24

It’s a life-sim game set in the Disney/Pixar world, which means you can expect to see characters like WALL•E, Belle, Goofy, and more. It takes place in Dreamlight Valley, which is currently overcome with “the Forgetting.” The Arcade Edition also features a new storyline not featured in the original title.
