Andrew Tate, a 36-year-old reality TV personality, has been released from prison and placed under house arrest. Along with his brother, Tristan Tate, and two Romanian women, he was arrested in December on charges of human trafficking, rape, and organizing a crime group. However, all four were released from jail on Friday after appealing the decision to extend their incarceration by another 30 days. They will remain under house arrest until 29 April.

A spokesperson for the Tate brothers expressed their joy at the Romanian judicial system’s decision to approve their appeal against the extension of their detention. The case has garnered significant media attention and will continue to be closely watched as it progresses.

The brothers are set to be placed on house arrest while investigations continue, and their spokesperson expressed gratitude to the court for allowing them to return home.

They are eager to reunite with their families in Romania and are thankful for the support they have received. Although they plan to continue fighting to clear their name, they see this as a positive step. Their communication director stated that the judges took the time to understand that the brothers are not a flight risk and are not a danger to the public, and therefore, have granted them house arrest. Further details about their release conditions will be made public later.

Andrew, one of the brothers, shared a video of himself smoking a cigar on Twitter, saying that he had been in lockdown for 24 hours a day since last year and that he is looking forward to a change of scenery.
