Pizza is undoubtedly one of the most loved Italian dishes. The combination of a crispy crust, melted cheese, and flavourful toppings creates a winning combination that appeals to many people’s taste buds. As much as we love pizza, it’s not one of the most ideal options for someone who is on a weight loss journey. Pizza is typically high in calories, fat, and sodium, which can raise cholesterol levels and increase the risk of heart disease. He somehow ended up gaining more muscles instead of bags of fat. During the challenge, Mercer decided to give up everything but pizza. He stopped eating all types of junk food and fast-food takeaways in order to prove a point about calorie deficit and health. He further explains how his main goal was to highlight fat loss by not restricting our favourite food. “I aimed to highlight not only fat loss about calories in and calories out but that it’s also not about restriction.” “We don’t have to restrict our favourite foods to get results and I also wanted to encourage more people to prepare their own food,” said Mercer. Also read: Viral Video Of Japanese Student Licking And Touching Other Customers’ Sushi Sparks OutrageMercer said that his typical diet includes 7-10 portions of fruits and vegetables and lots of protein. Mercer’s daily protein intake target was 140g per day and his daily fruit and vegetable portion goal was seven portions minimum per day.As tempting as it sounds, his weight-loss journey may not be suitable for everyone.
