30. Egg Carton Cup Angry Birds (Tutorial)
Below you’ll find an Angry Birds project made using egg carton cups, that I mentioned in the intro.
Supplies List:
Egg carton
Craft paint: red, yellow, blue, white and black
Paint brush
Construction paper scraps: red, yellow, blue, white, grey and black
or Colored permanent markers
Beak, eyes and combs Pattern Sheet (optional)
White tacky glue
Google eyes
Chenille strip, cut into 2″ or 3″ lengths
Scissors
Blue Angry Bird
front, side and back views
a) With a pointy object, I used a crochet hook, poke a hole in the center top of the blue egg carton sections.
b) Twist a 3″ piece of chenille strip around a pencil. Push one end of the strip down through the hole in the bottom section, one end twist will hold the end of the strip inside the bottom egg section.
c) Feed the top of the chenille strip through the top blue egg section.

Yellow Angry Bird

a)Cut one of the sections in a triangle shape and push the bottom part of the triangle up to flatten it so it can be glued to the bottom section of the bird.

White Angry Bird

a) With a pointy object, I used a crochet hook, poke a hole in the center top of the white egg carton sections.

Black Angry Bird

a) With a pointy object, I used a crochet hook, poke a hole in the center top of the black egg carton sections.
b) Push one end of a 2″ piece of chenille strip down through the hole in the bottom black section, make an L hook to hold the end of the strip inside the bottom egg section. Feed the top of the chenille strip through the top black egg section.

Red Angry Bird
