Yes, speculations are doing rounds that the government of India is considering to open movie theatres for the general public albeit with strict restrictions in its Unlock 3.0 plan. After staying out of function for a period of three months, cinema halls are ready to welcome movie-lovers once again to enjoy their favourite movies on the big screen.
To ensure that social distancing norms are strictly enforced, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has issued a set of new guidelines to be followed by all the movie theatres across India. These precautionary plans will ensure the safety of the moviegoers and help in containing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
