In case “not getting a deadly virus” isn’t enough of a reason to offer up your arm for a couple of doses of the vaccine, Krispy Kreme wants to give you a little extra encouragement—in the form of free doughnuts all year.
The company announced today that from now until the end of 2021, you can get a free original glazed doughnut when you show a valid vaccination card on any day, at any time, and at any location. You could go once a week, once a day, or hit multiple locations in any given day, and they’ll just keep handing them over.
With this offer, Krispy Kreme is doubling down on its support of everyone involved in combatting COVID-19. A company spokesperson says the brand also has given away more than 30 million doughnuts to healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, coaches, and graduating seniors over the course of the pandemic—with more on their way to healthcare workers and volunteers who are helping to administer the vaccine. And to encourage its own to get the shot, the company is offering up to four hours of paid time off to each employee to get vaccinated.
If you really want to make the trip to your local Krispy Kreme location worth your while, go on any Monday from March 29 through May 24 and snag a free medium coffee, too—no purchase necessary. (And if you’re still waiting for your vaccine appointment, you’ll be able to get your own free original glazed doughnut on those Mondays, too.)
