Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days are coming Oct. 10–11, offering Prime members exclusive deals on tons of stuff Amazon sells. But some of Amazon’s in-house tech products are already seeing discounts comparable to Prime Day. For example, the Echo Pop, Amazon’s newest and cheapest Alexa-enabled smart speaker, is currently in a 87% off (technically) in bundle deal with a month of Amazon Music Unlimited. Right now, Prime Members new to Amazon Music (but not current or returning Music Unlimited subscribers) can grab the bundle for $14.99.

The bundle deal pairs the Echo Pop, which is normally $39.99, with a month of Amazon Music Unlimited, valued at $9.99. The Echo Pop is actually priced at $4.99 (an 87% discount), but you can only get it at that price by signing up for the month of Amazon Music Unlimited for $9.99. The Amazon Music Unlimited subscription will auto-renew unless you cancel it, but even if you do, the smart speaker is yours to keep.

The Echo Pop is Amazon’s newest, cheapest smart speaker

The Echo Pop was released earlier this summer and was given an “excellent” review by PCMag for its affordability, balanced sound, and ability to act as an Eero Wi-Fi extender. If you already own other Alexa speakers, keep in mind that the Echo Pop will not be as loud as, say, the Echo Dot, and lacks touch and temperature sensors. However, it does everything else that an Echo Dot can do, and for an already affordable smart speaker, a deal of this magnitude makes it one of the best you’re likely see for this device, or for any other comparable smart speaker—provided you will benefit from trying out Amazon Music Unlimited, at least.
