Surface Laptops are not to be confused with the Surface Pro line of tablet/laptop hybrids. Surface Laptops closer to traditional laptops, although they also feature a touchscreen. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 came out in 2021, and it’s still decently equipped in 2023. This model from Woot is a 15-inch, 2,496 by 1,664 touchscreen laptop with a high-end AMD Ryzen 7 4980U processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find an AMD Ryzen 7 processor laptop at this price point. Best Buy is currently selling the same machine (albeit with Windows 11 Home; more on that below) for $1,199.99. With it, you’ll have enough power for most tasks, like content creation, moving large files, and even some gaming.
This laptop comes with Windows 10 Home, which is not the latest Windows 11 operating system, but it does support it. It has two USB ports and an HD front-facing camera. You can expect a maximum of 17.5 hours of battery life, depending on use.
