As with any Prime Day deal, you can expect Amazon devices to receive the biggest discounts (think: Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube, Kindles, and Fire Tablets). The discounts include their Alexa-powered Echo smart speakers, many of which are already on sale for Prime Day. (Amazon is slashing prices on their in-house devices in the run up to Prime Day 2023, scheduled for July 11–12.)

You can already find some smart speakers up to 55% off. Here’s how much you can get them for now, compared to their usual prices (and discounts).

Amazon Echo 4th generation ($55)

The 4th generation echo is normally $100, but it’s not unusual to find it on sale for at around $80, and $50 during Black Friday. You can get it for $55 from July 5 through July 12. Amazon is also offering an option that comes with a free Sengled Bluetooth Color bulb for the same price (and there’s no reason to not get the smart lightbulb). You can read a full PCMag review of the Amazon Echo 4th Generation here.

Amazon Echo Dot 5th generation ($23)

The 5th generation Echo retails for less than its previous generation, and like its predecessor, you can also expect it to serve dual duty as an Eero mesh Wi-Fi extender, according to PCMag’s review. This version retails for $50, but you can usually find it discounted for around $30 to $40, and $25 during Black Friday. Through July 12, it’s on sale for $23. You can also get one bunbled with a free Sengled Bluetooth Color bulb if you have a use for it.

Amazon Echo Dot 5th generation, with clock ($30)

The same v5th generation device is also available with a clock display option. It usually retails for $60 and is often available for similar discounts as the no-clock version. You can get it for $30 starting through July 12. Amazon also offers a free Sengled Bluetooth Color bulb option bundle for this model.

Amazon Echo Dot 5th generation: Kids’ version ($28)

The 5th generation also has a kids’ edition which comes in an owl or dragon design. It also includes a two-year worry-free guarantee and one free year of Amazon Kids+. It retails for $60 and can be picked up on sale between $40 and $45, or as low as $30 during Black Friday. Through July 12, it’s on sale for $28.

Amazon Echo Studio ($155)

The smart speaker for more serious listeners, the Echo Studio delivers Dolby Atmos-compatible directional audio that rivals smart speakers that cost twice as much, according to PCMag’s review. It’s list price is $200 and it rarely goes on sale. Last Black Friday it hit a record low of $155, and you can get it for the same price now through July 12.

Amazon Echo Show 15 ($162)

As the name implies, the Echo Show is a smart speaker with a screen—it’s Amazon’s version of the Google Nest Hub. The Echo Show 15 is the largest model and is designed to be mounted on a wall. Its list price is $250, but it has previously dropped to $192, and for $170 during Black Friday. However, through July 12, you can grab one for $162. (Read the full PCMag review here.)

Amazon Echo Show 10 ($163)

The Echo Show 10 is the third generation of the Echo Show line. It retails for $250 and you can sometimes find it for around $200, or as low as $170 during Black Friday. However, you can get it now for $163 through July 12. (Read the full PCMag review here.)

Amazon Echo Show 8 ($60)

The Echo Show 8 is the second generation of the Echo Show line. It usually retails for $130, but was $70 during Black Friday last year. You can get it for $60 through July 12. (Read the full PCMag review here.)

Amazon Echo Show 5 ($45)

The third generation of the Amazon smart display, Amazon Echo Show 5, retails for $90. It’s too new to have been discounted before. Through July 12, you can get one for $45, fully 50% off. (Read the full PCMag review here.)

Amazon Echo Show 5 Kids ($50)

The same Echo Show 5 is available in a kids’ version. It’s retail price is $99, but for Prime Day, you can get it for $50 through July 12. Like the other Amazon Kids devices, this one comes with a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ and a two-year “worry-free guarantee.”

Echo Pop ($18)

If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option to get Alexa to run your home, it doesn’t get much cheaper than the Echo Pop. It usually retails for $40 but you can get one for $18 until Prime Day ends. And for an extra dollar, you can get the bundle with the Sengled Bluetooth Color Bulb.
