The Apple Watch Series 9 is Apple’s second-most expensive watch after the Apple Watch Ultra 2, both released in the fall of 2023. For a limited time, the Series 9 is well-discounted with a better price than Black Friday and Christmas. Best Buy is having a limited-time sale only for today, Jan. 30, that ends at midnight ET. You can get the 41mm GPS pink sport loop Series 9 for $309 (originally $399.99) after a $90 discount. However, it seems like Amazon has matched the deal for the same size and color for an undisclosed amount of time. This is the lowest price I have seen for the Series 9.

  • Best Buy $309 (originally $399) comes with 4 months of Apple Fitness+

  • Amazon $309 (originally $399) comes with 3 months of Apple Fitness+

The Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 have been making rounds in the news this month because of the ban on its blood-oxygen feature, which you might not need anyway, but there are ways to get it before the feature is gone from the smartwatches for good. Since these Series 9 Apple Watches are from third-party sellers, you’re likely to get them with the blood-oxygen feature since, so far, only the Apple store has stopped selling them with the feature, as you can see from their product page. Both Amazon’s and Best Buy’s product pages say they have the blood-oxygen feature. There is no indication that Apple will get rid of the feature with updates for those who already have it or manage to get them from third-party stores before those stocks run out. Once these third-party sellers need to re-stock their Apple Watches, they’re likely to get the ones without the feature from Apple.

Keep in mind this is the GPS-only version (as opposed to GPS + Cellular), meaning you’ll need to have your iPhone nearby to take calls or send messages. The aluminum is cheaper than the stainless steel model, and the 41mm screen is for those who prefer a smaller screen compared to the 45mm one. This is the “one size,” which fits wrists measuring 130 to 200 mm. You can check out all the watchOS features here and read a full review of the Series 9 over at PCMag.
