And, it is bigger, louder and gives the audience thrice the number of John Abrahams than the first film. Yes, the sequel to the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate features the actor in triple roles, as he battles corruption, injustice and lies in the role of a father as well as twin brothers. The 3 minutes 17 seconds trailer promises more action and jaw-dropping stunt sequences. From smashing skulls and coconuts with his bare hands to stopping a vehicle from moving by holding on to it, there is enough to keep you glued to the screen.The trailer of the vigilante-action film introduces us to a politician, a no-nonsense police officer, and a farmer. There is a murderer on the loose as well. Interestingly, each of these characters is played by John Abraham himself. The father announces to his young sons that they must say united to prevent the enemy from driving a wedge between them. But the trailer suggests that the twin John Abraham(s), named Satya and Jay, grow up to nurture different ideologies.With one brother chasing down another, there is ample display of John Abraham’s superhuman physique and dialogues tailored to drive home the patriotism made clear in the title. At one point in the trailer, one of John Abrahams says, “Mera funda Dandi nahi hai, mera funda danda hai. Gandhiji ki hamesh jai ho, lekin Bhagat Singh mera banda hai [I believe in the stick, not in the Dandi (March). May we always revere Mahatma Gandhi, but Bhagat Singh is my man]”.The trailer features director-actress Divya Khosla Kumar as the heroine. Anup Soni and Sahil Vaid also appear in pivotal roles. The film has been written and directed by Milap Zaveri and is being produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment.
