India Gives Hope For The Future: Bill Gates After Meeting RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das

Although I’ve spent a lot of time there over the years—doing everything from checking out toilets to visiting a village that’s home to the one poorest, most underserved castes in India—I haven’t been back since before the pandemic. I can’t wait to see how much progress has been made in that time,” Mr Gates wrote.Touching upon climate change and global health, Bill Gate appreciated India’s progress in solving various issues. He wrote, “There is no better proof than the remarkable progress that India has accomplished”.Saying that “India as a whole gives me hope for the future”, Bill Gates wrote that India is about to become the world’s most populated country and yet it has “proven it can tackle big challenges”. He underlined that India eradicated polio, reduced poverty, lowered HIV transmission, and increased access to financial services and sanitation among other achievements.Bill Gates further said he was “going to India next week to see firsthand the work being done by innovators and entrepreneurs”.
