Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling about 2,400 pounds of ready-to-eat ham and cheese loaf products due to possible cross-contamination with under-processed products, according to a report from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The products were produced on Oct. 10 of this year, and the recall was issued after the company failed to clean their equipment between processing the ready-to-eat ham and cheese loaves and other products.

The recalled item is in a 16-oz rigid package labeled “Oscar Mayer Ham & Cheese Loaf” with codes from “07 Feb 2023 20:40 7B” through “07 Feb 2023 22:16 7B.” They have the establishment number “Est. 537V” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Here is a picture of the ham from the FSIS.

The products were shipped to distribution centers in Ohio and Virginia, then redistributed to retail stores. There have been no official reports of any reactions from people eating the ready-to-eat ham.
