Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days don’t arrive until next week, but the early offers have already started. Among them: Blink security cameras (up to 60% off), this Ring camera bundle (40% off), and Amazon Fire TV Sticks starting at $17.99.
Also added to the list: Amazon’s echo smart speakers. Here are some of the best deals you can find right now.
Prime Members can get an Echo Pop for $14.99
Table of Contents
The Echo Pop speaker is currently $17.99 (originally $39.99) for all customers, and while that is a great deal, there is an even better offer available for Prime members who have never subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited before:
…the Echo Pop, Amazon’s newest and cheapest Alexa-enabled smart speaker, is currently in a 87% off (technically) in bundle deal with a month of Amazon Music Unlimited. Right now, Prime Members new to Amazon Music (but not current or returning Music Unlimited subscribers) can grab the bundle for $14.99.
The Echo Pop launched this summer, earning an “excellent” review from PCMag for its cost-effectiveness, sound quality, and Eero Wi-Fi extender feature. You can think of it as the budget option for Echo speakers. While not as loud as the Echo Dot and missing touch and temperature sensors, it matches the Echo Dot in most other functions.
If you aren’t interested in Amazon Music Unlimited, you might go for the bundle with an Echo Pop and a Kasa Smart Plug for $18.98 (originally $62.98), which is currently 69% off. The smart plug cab be voice-controlled by your smart speaker or smart home app through wifi, and without the need for a central hub.
The Echo Dot 5th generation is 67% off
If you’re looking for a slightly beefier smart speaker than the Echo Pop, the Echo Dot 5th generation with the smart plug bundle, currently available for $23.98 (originally $72.98), is your best, cheapest option. (You can get just the smart speaker, but the bundle with the plug is just $1 more).
The Echo Dot 5th Generation is considered an “excellent” speaker by PCMag, and in terms of the best bang for your buck with the current deals, the best smaller speaker available by far—the Echo Dot with the clock is currently about twice the price as the Echo Dot without the clock (usually the difference is closer to $10). If you want a bigger speaker, the Echo 4th Generation (the most current iteration of that larger model) is currently 45% off too.
The Echo Studio smart bulb bundle is 34% off
If you’re interested in the Echo Studio, you might as well get it with the Philips Hue Color Smart Bulb bundle for $2 more—the pair will currently run you $156.98 (originally $239.98).
