Amazon has its fall product launch event today in which they unveil all of their new devices. At the same time, Woot, Amazon’s discount site, released some discounted refurbished Amazon products that are going on sale until Sept. 30 (or until supplies last). You can find an Amazon Fire TV, Echo Show smart speakers, and Ring security cameras and lights, among other things.
Keep in mind that all these products are refurbished, so they might come with signs of wear, but they were all serviced and given the thumbs-up to work properly. Note that Woot only ships to the 48 contiguous states in the U.S. If you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping; otherwise, it’ll be $6 to ship. Woot also offers a 90-day Woot warranty for some of these products (it’ll be noted on the bottom of the features tab).
Here are the best deals.

Table of Contents
Probably the best deal available on Woot’s sale is the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV Omni Series 4K UHD smart TV with Alexa for $269.99. The TV is normally $549.99 new on Amazon. The 43″, 50″, and 65″ have already sold out, so you can expect the 55″ to go next. PCMag gave the TV a 3.5 out of 5, noting its affordability and range of features but average picture quality.
The Echo Show 8 is 66% off
You can get the Echo Show 8, a touchscreen display Alexa device with stereo speakers, for $44.99. It usually goes for $129.99 new on Amazon and $114.99 refurbished. You can think of the Echo Show 8 as an Alexa device with a screen or an extension of your phone. It has a camera so you can make hands-free video calls, as well as use it to see your home when you’re away. You can also look at your calendar, see and follow recipes, and even use it as a mini streaming TV for your streaming apps.
Ring security camera is 54% off
While we’re in the topic of cameras, you can get the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In HD security camera for $45.99. It usually goes for $99.99 new on Amazon. This particular camera can be used indoors or outdoors and is the latest model available (unless Amazon announces a new one today, that is). You can see, hear, and speak from your phone, as well as see a live view through the Ring app. Keep in mind you will need a Ring Protect Plan subscription to record videos and review what you missed.
Also available at a great price is the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro for $119.99, which is more than half off. This floodlight camera goes for $249.99 new on Amazon.
