National Burrito Day lands on April Fool’s Day this year, but thankfully restaurants aren’t playing around with their deals. Starting tomorrow, restaurants like Pollo Loco and Moe’s Southwest Grill are offering buy-one-get-one deals, $5 burritos, and more. Less useful but still good, Chipotle is inviting people to play in an online challenge to crack a code and win a free burrito, plus other prizes all-day on April 1. Here are some deals and freebies to take advantage of on National Burrito Day.
Pollo Loco BOGO deal

In honor of National Burrito Day, Pollo Loco is offering a buy-one-get-one deal, so treat a friend (0r yourself) to a free burrito when you buy another of equal or lesser value. Just print or show this coupon at participating locations on April first to claim a second burrito for free. If you use your rewards card, you can get another free burrito, and you don’t need to order the third burrito right away—the second free burrito stays on your rewards card until you’re ready to redeem it. The offer ends at the end of April, so just redeem it during the month.
Get a free Chipotle burrito or $25,000 in Bitcoin
The Mexican food restaurant chain is celebrating National Burrito Day with some competition: Chipotle is offering free burritos or free bitcoin through an online game based on the true story of Stefan Thomas, CEO and founder of Coil, losing the login to his hard drive containing $387,000 worth of Bitcoin. Chipotle wants you to retrieve the password to win up to $25,000 in Bitcoin or a free burrito. On April first, just go to burritosorbitcoin.com, and each player will have ten tries to guess the proper six-digit passcode. Depending on how well you do, you could be $25,000 richer in Bitcoin or, more likely, get some free food. The challenge opens April 1 at 9:00 a.m. PT (12 p.m. ET) and closes at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET).

Moe’s Southwest Grill $5 burritos
Moe’s is giving away $5 burritos all day on April 1 to ring in National Burrito Day. There’s no special coupon or code to get in on this deal, and you can order any customized or Moe’s style burrito or burrito bowl for just $5 in-store or on Moe’s rewards app.
Become a Del Taco eMember for a free burrito
On National Burrito Day, Del Taco is offering a buy-one-get-one deal to all their “Raving Fan eClub” members. Sign up for Del Taco’s fan club by downloading their app or filling out this online form. Once you’re a member, you’ll have access to Del Tacos deals and offers, including the BOGO burrito sale on April 1.
