While some suggest making a healthy salad, others incorporate fruits in desserts such as ice creams and popsicles. However, one food blogger has created a bizarre food pairing of raw watermelon slices with mustard sauce. Don’t believe us? The blogger explains in the video the simple process of making the combination. He cuts up slices of watermelon and then drizzles them with American mustard from a French brand, which he specifies should be preferred for the combination. Then, he simply bites into the watermelon with mustard sauce. “It so tangy, it’s so vinegary and it matches so well with the watermelon’s sweet juiciness. Trust me it’s so good,” he said in the video.Believe it or not, several users tried the eccentric pairing and shared their thoughts about it. American singer Lizzo too tried the combination much to the surprise of her fan following. She used Heinz yellow mustard instead of the suggested brand, and ever since, the dish’s popularity has been sky-rocketing.
