Mouni Roy is known for her fitness. One would like to believe that she only eats salads and fruits to stay fit, but that’s probably not true. The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with the movie Gold opposite Akshay Kumar in 2018, regularly posts on social media about food that’s spicy and yet beneficial for health. In May, she had put up a post where she was seen relishing spaghetti. The dish appeared to be a spicy one as we could spot a red chili. The spaghetti seemed to be cooked in a spicy black pepper and cream sauce. A traditional Chinese dish, it can be easily cooked at home.Similarly, paneer manchurian, too, is a delight for your taste buds. The Indo-Chinese dish is a rage across streets. However, thanks to the lockdown we can’t step out. So, why not rustle up this dish at home? Both chicken and paneer manchurian can be served with simple steamed rice, hakka noodles, or fried rice.You can try several variations with fried rice as well — egg and garlic fried rice, vegetable fried rice, or the popular Indonesian Nasi Goreng. It’s the Balinese rendition of chicken fried rice. Chicken, cabbage, carrots, bok choy, kaffir lime leaves, Balinese red paste give this dish a unique flavour.The kaffir lime leaves emit an intense citrus fragrance and are known to detoxify the blood, promote good oral health and stimulate the digestive system.
