Bollywood as well as Hollywood stars paid tribute to the late actress. “Rest in peace Olivia Newton-John. Your legacy will shine on,” wrote Priyanka Chopra on her Instagram story. Kareena Kapoor, posting a still of Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta from Grease, wrote: “Goodbye ONJ. Thank you for the songs.” Oprah Winfrey, singers Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue also remembered the late actress-singer. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time. Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.”Olivia Newton-John had announced in May 2017 that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi.
