Ayushmann Khurrana recently featured in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’New Delhi: The team of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is on cloud nine and understandably so, given the positive feedback that the film has been receiving. On Monday,  Ayushmann Khurrana —  who plays the male lead in the film — penned a gratitude note to director Abhishek Kapoor. In his note, Ayushmann Khurrana said that the film was a risk that was “worth taking” thanks to Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial prowess. Sharing a behind-the-scenes image from the film and tagging the filmmaker, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “It’s worth taking a risk when you’ve a director of calibre like Gattu by your side. Thank you for this film. From a physical to an emotional transformation, this film was meant to trigger empathy. In his note, Abhishek Kapoor said that the film would not be possible without Ayushmann Khurrana. In a note, he said, “Love you Ayushmann Khurrana and thank you for making Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with me. I simply couldn’t have done it without you. You are an inspiration to so many storytellers out there. Keep rocking brother.” Vaani Kapoor is cast opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the film.Praise for the film has been coming in from various quarters including the who’s who of Bollywood. Superstar Hrithik Roshan shared his take on the movie, calling Ayushmann Khurrana an inspiration. In a tweet, Hrithik Roshan said, “You are one of the finest actors of Indian cinema my friend!! It’s been a long time since I got inspired like this. Love it when it happens!
