The original recipe was created by a food blogger who titled it, “Parle-G biscuit ki anoki recipe [a unique recipe made with Parle-G].” First, the blogger took some clarified butter or ghee in a pan. Next, she added the Parle-G biscuits to the ghee and roasted it on both sides. The roasted biscuits were then crushed with the help of a mortar and pestle. Lastly, the halwa was prepared with water, sugar and milk powder to which the crushed biscuit mixture was added and topped with pistachios, cashew nuts and then made into balls.Although Parle-G is a biscuit that enjoys a fan following of its own, the Parle-G halwa did not go down well with internet users. Many complained that this bizarre dessert recipe was thoroughly ruining the humble biscuit. “Crime has been committed,” wrote one user while another said, “You can do it with just wheat flour, ghee and sugar, don’t need parle G.”Take a look at the reactions:Reporting this tweetā€” Dr V šŸ¦·šŸ’‰ (@DrVW30) December 8, 2022May as well eat a giant mound of sugar instead of this ā€˜mouth melting’ concoction!ā€” Rohini Singh (@rohini_sgh) December 8, 2022omg, this is definitely in my top three worst of the worstā€” saTya – The greatest Joey’s pizza šŸ• lover (@POETICandFUNNY) December 8, 2022I love when she says “bahut hee mouth melting receipe hai”šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ā€” Rachit Seth (@rachitseth) December 8, 2022Tauba hai bhai, ppl are just too much, the other day I saw someone adding Parle-G into tea, according to her it makes tea creamier šŸ˜ā€” ā€ā€Ł…Ų±ŲøŪŒ Ų®ŁˆŚ–ŁŠŲ§Ś¼ŁŠ (@marzieh_khan) December 8, 2022What did you think about the Parle-G halwa recipe?
