Kids love to “make believe” and to act in plays or skits. By using puppets, they can say things, through the puppet, that they would usually be too shy to say. While puppets and puppet shows can be educational, the opportunity to use the imagination in making the puppets and performing skits is, in itself, important. Carefree and spontaneous puppet shows allow children to express themselves and encourages interaction.

The puppet making ideas that you’ll find here are easy and simple enough that the kids can make puppets of their choice.
