Have you ever noticed how some scents make you recall a particular place or event? You’ll love making crafts using cinnamon sticks because this memory provoking scent will transport you to Christmas’ past. Close your eyes and you’ll most likely see a decorated tree with twinkling lights and colorful ornaments. Or, you might see apple or pumpkin pies cooling on a holiday themed towel.

But, cinnamon stick items aren’t necessarily for holidays only. Hang a cinnamon pomander in your kitchen or closet to enjoy the scent any time of year. Besides cinnamon stick crafts, ideas included in this article also use cinnamon powder and/or cinnamon oils.
